Just realized I never posted last week. Sorry about that.

Before last week I got the 3D mesh all worked out and started a 3D print test of one.

I also was able to get the sketch online so others can start testing it:

This week I’ll be working on making the UI more understandable and friendly. Also trying to get the sketch to run faster and look a bit better.

Goals:
Create a tool that allows a user to quickly and easily create a unique, beautiful 3d form capable of being 3d printed.
I would like the user to feel in complete control of the form, being able to manipulate all aspects and variables.
Have the tool online and accessible and allow user creations to be saved and viewed.

Schedule:
11.05 – Finalize basic functionality – full watertight mesh structure
Have preliminary 3d models for 3d printing
Begin UI testing and experimenting

11.12 – Get tool online
Figure out saving user files to server
Continue adding functionality (other deformations and geometries)
Refine UI with feedback

11.19 – Continue adding functionality
Refine UI with feedback
Have prelim 3d models back
Send user 3d models to printer
