–  research on traditional window screen patterns

–  came up with a way to combine two different patterns in Rhino

–  experimented with Nodebox to create patterns, found it much easier than Processing

found some interesting dobby sample patterns in the textile department show

My test patterns are not interesting enough because they lack tactile materials, so my challenge is to combine tactile  materials with something I can infuse my programming.

Nov. 12th

I’ve been researching on modern and pop culture patterns and playing around with those jpg files along with processing sketches.

I am right now gearing towards more of different-time-based hybrids than just a different geographic location based hybrids.

I am also trying to develop a code that mimics pixel drawings used for Jacquard loom with Processing AND Scriptographer.

I will post some images soon with explanations.
