Finally got my flow chart done. This is still fairly basic, but gets the idea across. The flow is simple, the complexity happens inside of the functions.
Read MoreJust realized I never posted last week. Sorry about that.
Before last week I got the 3D mesh all worked out and started a 3D print test of one.
I also was able to get the sketch online so others can start testing it:

This week I’ll be working on making the UI more understandable and friendly. Also trying to get the sketch to run faster and look a bit better.
Read MoreGoals:
Create a tool that allows a user to quickly and easily create a unique, beautiful 3d form capable of being 3d printed.
I would like the user to feel in complete control of the form, being able to manipulate all aspects and variables.
Have the tool online and accessible and allow user creations to be saved and viewed.
Schedule:
11.05 – Finalize basic functionality – full watertight mesh structure
Have preliminary 3d models for 3d printing
Begin UI testing and experimenting
11.12 – Get tool online
Figure out saving user files to server
Continue adding functionality (other deformations and geometries)
Refine UI with feedback
